Eli J. Meaux
Attorney Brief
Eli J. Meaux joined the Provosty firm as an associate in 2013. He has a general civil litigation practice focusing on issues of municipal defense and commercial liability. He also has experience in secured transactions litigation, creditor liability defense and collections.

Mr. Meaux graduated with a B.A. in History from Louisiana State University in 2008 and received his Juris Doctorate from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2011, graduating Order of the Coif, magna cum laude.

Mr. Meaux was a Member of the Louisiana Law Review during his time at the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, as well as an extern at the Louisiana Supreme Court in 2009.

Mr. Williams received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Orleans in 1971 and a Juris Doctorate from Loyola University of New Orleans Law School in 1979.
Narrative
Prior to joining the firm of Provosty, Sadler & deLaunay, Mr. Williams was a sole practitioner. He was a special lecturer in school law at Xavier University of New Orleans and was a staff attorney for the New Orleans Home Mortgage Authority. Prior to his admission to the bar, he served as an analyst on the New Orleans City Council Research Staff.
